In Jan-June 2011 Rosgosstrakh Armenia paid $1.8mln in motor third party liability insurance compensation


ArmInfo. In Jan-June 2011 Rosgosstrakh Armenia insured 3,653 motor third party liability insurance events worth a total of 667mln AMD or $1.8mln, the average compensation being 201,000 AMD.

The press service of Rosgosstrakh Armenia reports that since the beginning of this year the company's contact center has registered a total of 5,948 road accidents (33 accidents per day).

151 events inflicted injury, 5 events - death.

The company's road accident agents arrive at the scene within 12-15 minutes in Yerevan and within no more than 30 minutes in marzes.

Rosgosstrakh is the leader in the field of motor third party liability insurance - 35% of all contracts.

Rosgosstrakh Armenia was set up in May 2009 and is part of ROSGOSSTRAKH GROUP (Russia). The authorized capital of the company totals 2.13bln AMD ($6mln). The company has 10 sales offices in Yerevan and 11 ones in big regional centers.
