In July 2011 AMD revaluation against USD made up 1.9% in Armenia


ArmInfo. In July 2011 3% reduction in consumer prices in Armenia was accompanied by 1.9% revaluation of AMD against USD.

The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo that in Jan-July 2011 consumer prices in Armenia rose by 0.4%, while AMD devaluation made up 2% against 3.7% growth in consumer prices and 3.6% revaluation of AMD against USD in the same period of 2010. In July 2011 the average AMD/USD exchange rate made up 367.53 AMD/$1, which is by 0.2% higher than the exchange rate in July 2010 (366.78 AMD/$1).
