Credit companies of Armenia finish first half-year 2011 with profit $3.3 mln
Arminfo. The aggregate total profit of credit companies of Armenia for the first half-year 2011 amounted to 13.5 bln drams ($36.6 mln), and total expenses - 11.9 bln drams ($32.4 mln). As a result of profits prevailing over the expenses, credit companies provided the pre-tax profit 1.5 bln drams or $4.2 mln. According to the results of the first half of 2011, the net profit of credit companies of Armenia amounted to 1.2 bln drams ($3.3 mln), press-service of Central Bank reported.
In the structure of total revenues of the credit companies the interest income for the first half of 2011 amounted to 7.1 bln drams ($19.2 mln) or 52,3%. The share of the non-interest income amounted to 18,8%, or 2.5 bln drams ($6.9 mln). In the structure of total expenses the interest expenses amounted to 2.2 bln drams ($6.1 mln), or 18,8%, and non-interest expenses - 3.6 bln drams ($9.8 mln), or 30,2%.
