National Mortgage Company refinances loans worth 13.4 billion AMD
ArmInfo. Over Jan-July 2011 the portfolio of refinanced mortgage loans of the National Mortgage Company (NMC) grew by 34.2%, having reached 13.432 bln AMD by 1 August (1816 loans).
According to the official data of NMC, in July the company refinanced 100 mortgage loans worth 691.1 mln AMD.
The source says that today NMC has general contracts with 15 commercial banks and 3 credit companies: ArmBusinessBank, ARARATBANK, Armeconombank, Artsakhbank, Anelik Bank, Areximbank- Gazprombank Group, Ardshininvestbank, VTB Bank (Armenia), HSBC Bank Armenia, INECOBANK, Byblos Bank Armenia, Unibank, Armenian Development Bank, Converse Bank, ArmSwissBank, as well as First Mortgage Company, Global Credit and Express Credit. The National Mortgage Company was founded on June 16 2009 by the decision of the Central Bank
of Armenia. As of 1 July 2011 the authorized capital of the company was 8 bln AMD, total capital - 8.4 bln AMD (1st position among the universal credit organizations of Armenia). The assets of NMC amounted to 13 bln AMD (2nd position), about 87% of which fell on provision of crediting (2nd position). The provision of crediting annually grew by 88%, over Q1 2011- by 26%, and over Q2 2011 - by 16%.
