Credit portfolio of credit companies of Armenia up 6% for 2Q 2011
Arminfo. The total volume of credit portfolio of the credit companies of Armenia up 6% for 2Q 2011, having amounted to 93.8 bln drams ($254.5 mln) or 90,7% os assets, press-service of Central Bank reported.
The maximal volume of credits was directed to the financial sphere - 27.2 bln drams ($73.788 mln) or 29% out of the credit portfolio, with 8,1% growth versus 1Q. Then comes agriculture sphere, to which credit companies of Armenia directed 19.2 bln drams ($52.088 mln) or 24,4% of the credit portfolio, with 7,2% growth versus 1Q. The volume of the trade crediting in the 2Q amounted to 13.181 bln drams ($35.7 mln) or 14% of the credit portfolio, with 1,9% decrease versus 1Q.
According to the results of the 2Q, the mortgage crediting amounted to 10.7 bln drams ($29.021 mln) with 9,5% growth and the consumer crediting - 5.4 bln drams ($14.7 mln) with 7,7% growth. The credit companies directed 4.8 bln drams ($13.059 mln) to the industrial sector with 11,6% growth, 2.7 bln drams ($7.517 mln) - to the sphere of services with 13,6% growth versus 1Q and 2.6 bln drams ($7.115 mln) to the construction sphere with 13,4% decrease. The least volume of credits were directed to the sphere of transport and communication - 2.2 bln drams ($6.027 mln) with 5,2% growth versus 1Q.
