Economic activeness of Armenia up 13% for July thanks to high rates of growth in agriculture
Arminfo. The economic activeness of Armenia up 13% for July 2011 versus June thanks to high rates of growth in agriculture by 66,2%, and up 7% versus July 2010.
According to the preliminary data of National Statistics Service, in absolute terms the gross volume of agriculture in July amounted to 96.6 bln drams ($263.2 mln) with 32,4% growth versus July 2010.
Then comes energy sphere, which generated electric power in July 2011 by 13,3% more than in July 2010 - 662.4 mln kWt/h, by 3,9% more than in June. The next is the industrial sector - growth by 10,2% - production volume in July 78.2 bln drams ($213 mln, dropping by 6,7%). The index of prices for industrial production dropped by 6% in July, but grew by 6,3% versus July 2010.
As for the trade sphere, here growth by 5,4% was fixed in July versus June - up to 166 bln drams ($452.2 mln), and by 5,9% versus July 2010. The volume of the services delivered to the population grew by 5,3% in July 2011 versus July 2010 and by 7,7% only in July and amounted to 78.5 bln drams ($213.8 mln). The index of consumer prices in July versus June was 97%, and 106,3% versus July 2010.
At the same time, foreign trade turnover of Armenia reduced by 7,5% for July and grew by 3,5% versus July 2010 - up to 149.9 bln drams ($408 mln). In its structure the volume of export reduced by 8,1% for July, and grew by 33% versus July 2010 - up to 39 bln drams or $106.3 mln, and import in July 2011 reduced by 7,3%, and by 4% versus July 2010 - to 110.9 bln drams or $301.7 mln.
The average monthly salary in July amounted to 120836 drams ($329). It grew by 6,7% versus July 2010 and by 4,1% versus June 2011. In particular, in the budgetary organizations salary grew in July by 7% up to 98334 drams ($268), and by 6,2% versus July 2010, and in the non-budgetary organizations - by 1,9% up to 147083 ($401) with 6,4% growth versus July 2010.
The average exchange rate of Armenian dram for July 2011 was 367 AMD/$1.
