In July 2011 nominal salary in Armenia grew by 4.1%


ArmInfo. In July 2011 as compared with June 2011 the nominal salary in Armenia grew by 4.1% to 120,836 AMD or $329. As compared with July 2010 it grew by 6.7%.

In Jan-June 2011 only Jan and May saw drop in the salary (23% in Jan), in the other months the average rise was 1.1-4.9%.

According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in July 2011 as compared with July 2010 the budgetary salary grew by 6.2% to 98,334 AMD or $268. As compared with June 2011 it grew by 7%. The non-budgetary salary grew by 1.9% and 6.4%, respectively, to 147,083 AMD.

In July 2011 the average AMD/USD exchange rate made up 367 AMD/1 USD.
