Service tariffs in Armenia grow by 0.1%


ArmInfo. In Aug 2011 as compared with July 2011 service tariffs in Armenia grew by 0.1%. In Jan-Aug 2011 they grew by 2.2%.

The National Statistical Service of Armenia reports that this growth was due to 0.1% rise in tariffs in transportation, 1.2% rise in public catering and 4.4% rise in recreation.

Services in the culture and communication sectors grew 0.7% and 0.1% cheaper, respectively. Tariffs for other services did not change.

In Jan-Aug 2011 deflation was 0.2%, in Aug 2011 - 0.6%.
