Armenia's domestic trade turnover grows by 5.4%
ArmInfo. In July 2011 Armenia's domestic trade turnover totalled 166bln AMD or $452.2mln - 5.4% more than in June 2011 and 5.9% more than in July 2010.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the share of wholesale trade made up 34.1% or 56.6bln AMD ($154.2mln) - 8.9% less than in June 2011 and 7.4% more than in July 2010, the share of car trade - 3.8% or 6.3bln AMD ($17.1mln) - +3.4% and -2.3%, respectively.
The share of retail trade made up 62.1% or 103.1bln AMD ($281mln) - +15.6% as compared with June 2011 and +5.7% as compared with July 2010. The share of shops in retail trade made up 66.8% or 68.8bln AMD, consumer markets - 6.2% or 6.4bln AMD, stalls - 3.6% or 3.8bln AMD, agricultural markets - 1.9% or 1.9bln AMD.
