Unibank has biggest time deposit portfolio in Armenia's banking sector


ArmInfo. In Jan-June 2011 as compared with Jan-June 2010 Unibank's time deposit portfolio grew by 28%.

The press service of Unibank reports that as of July 1 2011 the personal time deposits totaled 47.4bln AMD, while the corporate ones - 32.9bln AMD. The total amount of time and call deposits was 51.5bln AMD, with the share of time deposits in the bank's liabilities making up 83.2%.

Unibank receives both standard and nominal deposits and offers high reliability and yield (up to 12.1%).

According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia, as of July 1 2011 Unibank had the biggest time deposit and personal time deposit portfolios in Armenia's banking system. In Jan-June 2011 the time deposit portfolio grew by 17.6%, in Q2 2011 - by 15.5%.
