In Aug 2011 monetary stock in Armenia up 0.5% to $2.766 bln
ArmInfo. In Aug 2011, the monetary stock increased by 0.5% and by 16% in Jan-Aug 2011, having totaled 1.016 bln AMD ($2.766 bln) by Sept 1 2011 (26.5% y-o-y growth).
According to the CBA's preliminary data the National Statistical Service of Armenia provided ArmInfo, in Aug 2011 the cash flow outside the banking system grew by 0.9% (16.4% growth in Jan-Aug 2011, 17.3% y-o-y growth), having amounted to 320.7 bln AMD by Sept 2011. The share of AMD deposits in the total monetary stock made up 26% or 264 bln AMD, and the share of foreign exchange deposits – 42.5% or 432 bln AMD
The external assets decreased by 25.5% in Aug 2011 and made up 82 bln AMD (over twofold decline in Jan-Aug 2011). The internal assets increased by 3.7% in Aug 2011 and made up 934.8 bln AMD (34.6 growth in Jan-Aug 2011).
In the structure of internal assets the liabilities before the government amounted to negative 60.3 bln AMD (10.7% growth in August). The share of economy made up 1.183 trillion AMD. This index grew by 2.6% in Aug 2011. The share of organizations made up 685.6 bln AMD (3.5% growth in August), the share of households - 465.9 bln AMD (1.5% growth in August), and the share of non-commercial organizations - 12.9 bln AMD, having undergone no changes in August.
