Ardshininvestbank increases transfers portfolio by 20%
Arminfo. For Jan-Aug of the current year versus the same period of 2010 Ardshininvestbank increased the volume of money transfer via international payment systems by 20% - up to $110 mln as of 1 September. The money transfers grew by 30 thsd transactions and reached 200 thsd transactions at the beginning of September. The average size of one transaction amounted to $537.
Representative of Ardshininvestbank Tigran Shahinyan told Arminfo correspondent that only in August 2011 versus August 2010 the bank managed to increase circulation of the private transfers by about 50%. "We expect that the money transfers will grow till the end of the year. As a result, the private transfers portfolio will grow by 25% - up to $175 mln", he said and added that such a growth is conditioned by improvement of the economic situation in the countries from which Armenia has been chiefly receiving transfers. In particular, the lion's share of the transfers of Ardshininvestbank belongs to Russia - more than 65%, then comes the USA - about 15%.
Shahinyan also added that Ardshininvestbank will go on making investments in development of technological solutions in the bank, which will make it possible to provide maintaining more operative service to customers.
Today money transfer may be implemented from all the offices of Ardshininvestbank to more than 190 countries of the world via such international systems like: Contact, MoneyGram, Migom, Blizko, IntelExpress, RIA, Coinstar Money Transfer, etc.
