VTB Bank (Armenia) gives special priority to enhancement of professionalism of mid-level managers
ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia) gives special priority to enhancement of the professionalism of mid-level managers and to the training of internal personnel reserve out of young and promising employees. The press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) told ArmInfo that the employees of the Bank have an opportunity to attend the training courses at the Corporate University of VTB conducted by the top managers of VTB, professors and lecturers of Moscow-based universities, trainers, advisers, and paraprofessionals.
In late September 2011, 30 attendees of the 6th recruitment of the Corporate University of VTB defended graduation works under the project "Energy of Leadership 2010-2011". 3 of the attendees represented VTB Bank (Armenia). The defense of the graduation works was followed by the ceremony of awarding of the certificates.
According to the source, Marianna Stepanyan, Head of the Investment Services Department, Anzhela Martirosyan, Head of the Operational Department, and Alexan Stepanyan, Head of the Moscow branch of VTB Bank Armenia, took part in the Energy of Leadership program 2010-2011 with the jury pointing out the practical value of Marianna Stepanyan's and Anzhela Martirosyan's works.
"In the present economic situation the development of personnel is one of the key prerequisites for our prosperity. In the last decade ten of our employees have graduated from the Corporate University. We will continue training our personnel as highly professional employees are crucial for our development," CEO of VTB Bank Armenia Valery Ovsyannikov said.
The Corporate University of VTB was established in Moscow in 2005.
VTB Bank Armenia joined VTB Group in Apr 2004 and is 100% subsidiary of VTB Bank, the second biggest bank in Russia. The bank is one of the leaders of Armenia's banking system and has the largest branch network in the sector (68 branches).
