New office of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in Yerevan meets European standards
Arminfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank opened today a new and the first modern office "Armenia" in Yerevan near the Republic Square, at Piazza Grande business centre. The leadership of Armenia's Central Bank, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations and customers of the bank were present at the opening ceremony.
Chairman of Central Bank Artur Javadyan told journalists that opening of this office may serve a proof to investors and a guarantor that investments in Armenia are justified and the financial stability in the country is at high level.
"They do not have such bank offices even some countries of Europe. Incidentally, the cash operations in this bank will be implemented not directly between a bank employee and a customer but thanks to the special device", - he said.
Javadyan specially emphasized that ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, being the leader of the banking system for participation in agriculture programmes and for diversification of its business, proved that one can reach success in the banking system of the country only through raising of the quality of service and introduction of the new standards all the time.
"Such approach gives an opportunity to develop dynamically and to attract new customers. I call on all the banks to follow similar standards in their activity", - Javadyan said.
Director general of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Stepan Gishyan, added that "Armenia" office equipped with modern equipment and comfortable interior, will offer its customers a universal package of the banking services, putting a stress at big money flows of individual and legal persons. For this reason, special VIP-services are available in the office.
"By the service quality, this office built according to the best European standards, will not lag behind the banks of Paris, Zurich or New York", - Gishyan assured and added that if the number of the customers of the bank grows, similar offices will be opened in future as well.
According to the Ranking of commercial banks of Armenia prepared by Arminfo, by coverage of offices ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank occupies the third place in the banking system of the country. As Gishayan said, at present the bank owns 42 offices, including 7 in Yerevan.
