Circulation of non-cash operations through ATMs up in Armenia
ArmInfo. In Armenia circulation of the non-cash operations through the ATMs grew by 15,5 times for the 3Q of the current year versus the 3Q 2010, and in absolute terms amounted to 315 mln drams. As Armenian Card reported, in September such circulation amounted to 211.4 mln drams, by 26 times more than in September 2010.
At the same time, the Internet-sale fell much. The volume of payments through Internet in the 3Q 2010 was more than 1.3 bln drams versus 3Q 2011 - 853 mln drams (falling by 36,7%). In September of the current year the volume of the Internet-payments amounted to 419.2 mln drams, which is by 15,9% less than in September 2010.
If compared with the above mentioned types of bargains, the money transfers from card to card turned to be the most successful ones. As Armenian Card reported, in the 3Q 2011 circulation of money transfers from card to card amounted to 1.3 bln drams, which is by 55,8% more than in the 3Q 2010. This indicator was 456.6 mln drams in September 2011, which is by 62,5% more than in September 2010.
As of 1 October 2011, the total number of the active cards, emitted by the ArCa national processing member-banks, was 703.8 thsd units, which is by 30,9% more than on 1 October 2010.
