Areximbank-Gazprombank Group plans to increase private remittances by 15% till 2012
ArmInfo. Turnover of Areximbank-GPB Group's private remittances for 9 months of 2011 totaled 19.7 bln drams with remittances to Armenia amounting to 8.3 bln drams and those from Armenia - 11.4 bln drams.
Areximbank-GPB Group press-service told ArmInfo money remittances in the amount of some 4 bln drams (exclusive of S.W.I.F.T. transfers) were made through various international payment systems as of Oct 1 2011 without opening of an account in the bank. The share of remittances to Armenia totaled 3.4 bln drams while transfers from Armenia amounted to 605.6 mln drams. Till the end of 2011 Areximbank-GPB group plans to increase private remittances by 15% versus early 2011, the source reported. Till the end of the year the bank will be connected to Blizko and Anelik systems and to Gazprom-Express in 2012. The sole shareholder of the bank is Gazprombank OJSC.
