Inflation in consumer market of Armenia for Oct 2011 totals 0.3%
ArmInfo. Inflation in the consumer market of Armenia for Oct 2011 totaled 0.3%. In Jan-Oct 2011 inflation totaled 0.9%, The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo inflation was a result of 0.3% rise of food prices (inclusive of alcohol and tobacco), 0.9% rise of non-foods prices and 0.1% growth of tariffs of services.
Consumer price index in the country totaled 105.7% in Oct 2011, including food products price index (alcohol and tobacco inclusive) made up 108.5%, non-foods - 103.9%, tariffs of services - 102%. These indicators for Jan-Oct 2011 versus Jan-Oct 2010 were as follows: 108.3%, 112.3%, 103.2% and 103.8%, respectively.
Consumer price index for Jan-Oct 2011 totaled 100.9%, including food products price index (alcohol and tobacco inclusive) -100.4%, non-foods - 103.4%, tariffs and services - 102.5%. The average monthly fall of prices for Jan-Oct 2011 was 0.1% versus 0.5 percentage point growth of prices for the same period of 2010.
In Oct 2011 versus Sept consumer price index in the surveyed towns was 0.1%-0.9%. In Yerevan, prices fell 0.3%.
