In Sept 2011 Armenia's monetary base totalled $1.533bln
ArmInfo. In Sept 2011 Armenia's monetary base grew by 2.2% to $1.533bln or 570.6bln AMD. In Jan-Sept 2011 it grew by 23.2%, as compared with Sept 2010 - by 30.2%.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in Sept 2011 the cash outside the CB decreased by 0.1% to 389.6bln AMD. In Jan-Sept 2011 it increased by 15%, as compared with Sept 2010 - by 18.3%.
The share of obligatory AMD reserves in the monetary base made up 17.1% or 97.5bln AMD (7.8% drop in Sept 2011), that of the obligatory foreign exchange reserves - 18.3% or 104.6bln AMD (1.9% drop).
The foreign reserves totalled 472.7bln AMD - 0.7% drop in Sept 2011, 10.5% growth in Jan-Sept 2011, 5.7% growth as compared with Sept 2010.
The domestic assets totalled 97.8bln AMD - 8.9% drop in Sept 2011. In Jan-Sept 2011 this index tripled.
