In Nov 2011 gold, platinum and silver prices dropped by 10%
ArmInfo. This week the gold and platinum prices grew by 3.6%, while the silver and palladium ones dropped by 2.5%, with the average growth in the precious metal prices being 3.1%.
The State Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of the Finance Ministry of Armenia reports that Nov 14-20 2011 one gram of gold (standard bars) cost 21,927.70 AMD (3.9% weekly growth), silver - 422.88 AMD (+2.2%), platinum - 20,241.54 AMD (+3.4%), palladium - 8,11.98 AMD (+2.8%).
Since the beginning of this year the gold price has grown by 36.7%, the silver price - by 24.8%, the platinum price - by 1.5%, the palladium price has dropped by 7.1%, with the average growth being 14%.
In Q1 2011 the precious metal prices grew by 9.7%, in Q2 2011 - by 2.5%, in Q3 2011 - by 3.9%.
