Precious metal prices drop


ArmInfo. This week the gold and silver prices have dropped by 1.3%, while the platinum and palladium ones - by 1.5%. The average decline was 1.4%.

The State Precious Metals and Stones Depository of Armenia reports that Nov 21-28 2011 one gram of gold (standard bars) was 21,704.69 AMD (1% weekly drop), silver - 415.82 AMD (-1.7%), platinum - 20,030.67 AMD (-1%), palladium - 7,955.44 AMD (-1.9%).

Since the beginning of this year gold has grown in price by 35.3%, silver - by 22.7%, platinum - by 0.5%, palladium - 8.9%, with the average growth being 12.4%.
