Over Q3 2011 gross international reserves of Armenia up 9.7% to 1.9 bln USD


ArmInfo. Over Q3 2011 the gross foreign assets of Armenia grew by 9.7% to $1955.1 mln, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo.

In the structure of gross foreign assets, the international reserves grew from $1782 mln to $1955 mln. Over that period the special drawing rights (SDR) in the IMF declined from $16.4 mln (10.3 mln SDR) to $15.6 mln (9.9 mln SDR).

Over Q3 2011 the net foreign assets increased by 9.1% to $1228.964 mln.

To note, the share of the banking gold in the gross international reserves was zeroed in Dec 2003.
