Ex-mayor of Yerevan - the first vice president of OJSC Gazprombank


Arminfo. The former mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan has been appointed the First Vice President of Gazprombank of Russia. ArmRusGazprom Company Press Service representative Shushan Sardaryan said the order on appointment was signed on 2 December.

Gazprombank is among Russia's three leading banks, and, with its capital, it is the third largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe. It was founded in 1990. The control over the bank belongs to the non-state pension fund (50% plus 1 share). 41,73% of shares belong to OJSC and 5,82% of shares belong to the Ltd, 99,99% of shares of which belong to Gazprombank. The top managers of the bank directly own only by 2,45% of shares. Aleksey Miller is the chairman of the Director's Council of the bank.
