Online trading and payments for communal services up 2.5fold in 2011


ArmInfo. Online trading and payments for communal services totaled 452.8 million drams as of Dec 1 2011, the growth in Nov 2011 versus Nov 2010 being 2.5fold.

Processing Center of the CJSC Armenian Card told ArmInfo, a total of 49,000 online payments were made for November, which was 68% more than for the same period of 2010.

The source reports that non-cash operations inside ArCa network grew 39fold over the year to 413.4 mln drams as of late Nov 2011. Non-cash transactions through AT
Card-to-card transfers grew 47% to 449.4 million drams, with the number of transactions growing 60.3% (5532 transactions).
