ArmInfo. In primary and interbank securities market yield was left almost unchanged in November in Armenia, the Central Bank of Armenia told ArmInfo. Repo-rate was left almost unchaged in November 2011 versus October and totaled 9.62%. In the interbank market Repo-rate was not changed either - 9.26%. However, in the primary market the average yield of up to 1-year government bonds rose 0.66 percentage points to 8.97%.
Armenian dram devaluated against US dollar - 1.59% totaling 382.78AMD/US$1 (5.59% annual devaluation). AMD devaluated against EUR - 0.4% to 519.21AMD/1EUR (4.79% annual devaluation), and against Russian ruble - 2.74% to 12.41 AMD/1RUR (5.96% annual devaluation).
The Central Bank Council once again retained the refinancing rate at 8% on Dec 6 2011, in fact the rates on Lombard Repos and raised deposits were left unchanged - 11% and 5%, respectively.
