Nairi Insurance Company opens 7 sales offices at Yerevan-City supermarkets and 5 representative offices


ArmInfo. Nairi Insurance Company has opened 7 sales offices at Yerevan-City supermarkets, one of the biggest chains of supermarkets in Yerevan, and 5 representative offices, which will provide Motor Third Party Liability Insurance contracts (MTPL).

"If an insurance products is in demand it may easily occur among other products of mass consumption, which significantly facilitates the procedure of MTPL policy registration," says Nairi Insurance Executive Director G. Khachatryan. In future, these offices will serve also CASCO and tourist insurance policies, he says.

Nairi Insurance has a big agent network that comprised 73 privates and 63 legal entities as of Oct 2011. The company is licensed to provide 15 non-life insurance lines.

Ranking of the Armenian Insurance Companies by ArmInfo says Nairir Insurance collected 2.179 bln drams premiums for 9 months of 2011 (3rd position in the market). As of oct 1 2011 assets of the company totaled 3.2 bln drams having almost doubled over the year. Total capital reached 1.8 bln drams (up 70% over the year), with the statutory capital totaling 511.4 bln drams.
