In Jan-Nov 2011 Armenia's foreign trade turnover totaled $5bln
ArmInfo. In Jan-Nov 2011 Armenia's foreign trade turnover totaled $7.957bln or 1.843trl AMD. The exports in FOB prices made up $1.206bln or 448.8bln AMD, the imports in CIF prices - $3.751bln or 1.395trl AMD, the negative balance - $2.544bln or 946.2bln AMD.
In Nov 2011 alone the foreign trade turnover totaled $504.5mln or 192.8ln AMD - 0.1% more than in Oct 2011 and 10.2% more than in Nov 2010. The exports grew by 22.3% and 22.3%, respectively, to $124.1mln or 47.4bln AMD, the imports grew by 6.7% and dropped by 2.8%, respectively, to $380.4mln or 145.4bln AMD.
In Jan-Nov 2011 the trade turnover with the EU totaled $1.6bln (32.5% of the total trade) - 18.9% more than in Jan-Nov 2010. The exports to the EU made up $556mln, the imports therefrom - $1.1bln, the negative balance $499.7mln (9.7% more than a year before).
The trade turnover with the CIS grew by 10.9% to $1.317bln. Russia's share therein made up 20% or $993mln. The exports to the CIS made up $233.2mln, the imports therefrom - $1.084bln, the negative balance - $851mln (0.1% drop).
In Jan-Nov 2011 the key buyers of Armenian products were Russia (16.5% of the total exports), Germany (12.3%), Bulgaria (11.2%), the Netherlands (8.8%), Iran (8%), the United States (7.6%), Spain (6.2%), Belgium (5.5%), Canada (5.2%) and Georgia (4.6%).
The key suppliers of imported products were Russia (21.2% of the total imports), China (9.8%), Germany (5.9%), Turkey (5.8%), Ukraine (5.6%), Iran (5.2%) and Italy (4.2%).
