Ardshininvestbank joins UNIStream system
Arminfo. The Armenian Ardshininvestbank and UNIStream international money transfer system have started cooperating, thanks to what in the middle of January the bank will start giving such services to the customers in all its offices, representative of the bank, Tigran Shahinyan, told ArmInfo correspondent. He said that in 2011 Ardshininvestbank increased the volume of the private transfers through the international payment systems by 23% and provided an indicator $181 mln.
When commenting on starting cooperation with Ardshininvestbank, president of UNIStream Suren Hayryan said that this is an important project on development of this system in Armenia, taking into account the scales of the work and the weight of this financial institute in the country. He also said that in 2012 the system will intensify its efforts as much as possible for increasing of the net in Armenia. He said that besides increasing of the number of points in 2012, the UNIStream strategy in Armenia will also stimulate new products and options including the Unified Client's Card, the non-address format, etc.
When touching on growth of partnership, he said that over a short period of time two Armenian banks have already joined the system (Prometey Bank and VTB Bank (Armenia). So the number of the UNIStream partners in Armenia has become 4 taking into account Unibank.
As for the success of the system in Armenia, Hayryan said about high rates of development of the Unified Client's Card. At present almost 80% of the received money transfers were implemented using this card. The UNIStream circulation in Armenia grew by 20% in the dollar terms over nine months of 2011 versus the same period of 2010. The number of transactions grew by 10%. The UNIStream services are offered in three currencies: Russian rubles, American dollars and EUR. The non-address option has been opened for customers which transfer money from Armenia.
