In 2011 nominal salary in Armenia rose by 5.9%


ArmInfo. Over Jan-Dec 2011 vs Jan-Dec 2010, the average nominal salary in Armenia grew by 5.9% to 115265 AMD ($309).

According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in December 2011 vs November 2011 the nominal salary rose by 26.6%.

According to the statistics, at the state establishments the average salary in 2011 totaled 93215 AMD ($250), having risen by 6.4% as compared to 2010, and at non-state organizations - 141206 AMD ($379), with the y-o-y growth being 3.9%. In Dec 2011 vs Nov 2011 the salary at budget organizations was up 27.6%, and at non-budget organizations the salary grew by 25.8%.

The average AMD/USD exchange rate in Jan-Dec 2011 was 372.5 AMD/1USD.
