Share of legal entities in loan book of Armenia's banks made up 52% in Q4 2011
ArmInfo. In Q4 2011 the assets of Armenia's banking system grew by 9.7% to $5.4bln or 2.1trl AMD.
The press service of Armenia's Central Bank reports that in Q4 2011 the loans given to individuals grew by 10% to $1.1bln or 424.8bln AMD (34% of the total against 32% in Q4 2010) while those given to legal entities - by 5.2% to $1.9bln or 726.5bln AMD (52% of the total against 53% a year before).
As of Jan 1 2012 there were 21 commercial banks with 442 branches in Armenia against 408 branches on Jan 1 2011.
