Armenia's Central Bank reduces lending growth outlook
ArmInfo. Armenia's Central Bank has reduced its lending growth outlook.
According to the CB's monetary-credit policy program, in Q1 2012 economy lending will grow by 20.2% (270bln AMD) against 35.3% (350bln AMD) in 2011.
The money will be lent to SMEs and under mortgage programs. Foreign exchange loans will prevail.
The money and AMD supplies will grow by 17.6% and 21.1%, respectively, the monetary base by 8%, the circulated AMD cash by 30%, foreign exchange deposits by 12.6. The rate of dollarization will drop by 4.2%, while the rate of monetization will grow by 10%.
In 2011 the AMD and money supplies in Armenia grew by 23.7% and 26.4%, respectively, AMD deposits by 42.7%, foreign exchange ones by 35.3%, economy lending by 35.3%.
