In Q1 2012 turnover of Anelik system grew by 21%
ArmInfo. In Q1 2012 the turnover of the Anelik money transfer system grew by 21% to $0.2bln. The amount of transfers in RUR grew by 220%. The number of transactions grew by 92% to almost 500,000.
"As compared with the pre-crisis 2008, in Q1 2012 the number of net transfers grew by 62% due to growth in RUR transfers, low competitive tariffs and immediacy," Head of Financial Operations Unit of Anelik Bank Arman Shushyan said.
2011 was quite successful for the Anelik system: its turnover grew by 13% to over $1bln. Anelik covers almost 63,000 service offices in almost 100 countries.
