In Feb 2012 housing prices in Armenia dropped by 0.4%
ArmInfo. In Feb 2012 as compared with Feb 2011 housing prices in Armenia dropped by 4%, as compared with Jan 2012 by 0.4%.
The National Real Estate Cadastre Committee of Armenia reports that in Feb 2012 in Yerevan the average price of 1 sq m in an apartment house dropped by 0.5% to 250,100 AMD, while the price of 1 sq m in a private house by 0.3% to 269,700 AMD.
The Center continues to be the most expensive community in Yerevan: here 1 sq m in an apartment house costs 400,000 AMD, while in a private house - as much as 459,000 AMD.
In the regions the average price of 1 sq m in an apartment house dropped by 1.1%, with Tsaghkadzor remaining the most expensive city - 300,800 AMD per 1 sq m.
The cheapest housing in Armenia is in Syunik region - just 8,000 AMD per 1 sq m.
