Total capital of Armenian Credit Companies up by 3.8% to $124.5 million for Q1
ArmInfo. Total capital of the Armenian credit companies for Q1 2012 was up 3.8% to 48.6 billion drams ($124.5 million). In the structure of total capital, the statutory fund grew 1.3% to 35.4 billion drams ($90.7 million).
According to data of the Central Bank of Armenia, the share of the foreign capital in the statutory fund grew 1.5% to 13.9 billion drams ($35.6 million). The key reserves grew 1.7% to 999.6 million ($2.6 million).
The credit companies completed the quarter 1 2012 with 1.674 billion drams profit. The accumulated profit totaled 8.4 billion drams ($21.5 million) and grew 42.6% for Q1.
According to the Central Bank, as of April 1 2012 there were 32 credit companies and 78 branches in the territory of Armenia.
