Credits under control in the credit portfolio of Armenian commercial banks up 53,8%, and non-standard - down 18%
Arminfo. According to the results of the 1Q 2012, in the credit portfolio of Armenian commercial banks the credits under control grew by 53,8%, while the non-standard ones dropped by 18%. The standard credits grew by 4,1% up to 95,4% in the credit portfolio of the bank over the reported period. As press-service of Armenian Central Bank reported, by 1 april 2012 the standard credits amounted to 1.4 trillion drams, the "controlled" - 44.7 bln drams, the "non-standard" - 13.3 bln drams and the "doubtful" ones - 11.2 bln drams. The share of the "controlled" credits grew from 1,5% up to 3% and the "doubtful" ones - from 0,7% up to 0,8%, while the "non-standard" dropped from 1,1% to 0,9% and the "standard" - from 96,7% to 95,4% for the 1Q 2012.
