Mobile Commerce will be provided in all of the bank's branches and promo points.
The bank is going to involve its clientele in this process. "I think each of our customers having a smart phone will welcome this easy to access and safe service," Hakobyan said.
He said that the designer of Mobile Commerce is Gallery Systems (the United States). General Manager of Gallery Systems Richard Bezjian said that Mobile Commerce customers will be able to pay for their purchases right in the shops, to control their bank accounts, to transfer money from and to them, to repay loans, etc. Bezjian said that the service is very safe.
The Mobile Commerce application can be installed in a customer's smart phone if it is based on Android, IOS or in the future Windows.
In the first few months the service will be free. In the future the fee will symbolical - just 100 AMD a month.
Hakobyan said that the bank has invested much more than $100,000 in this project and expects to recoup the money in 1-1.5 years.
The bank's partner under this project is Boomerang Software. Now the service is being tested to be launched in the summer.
