Economy crediting on rise in Armenia
ArmInfo. In Apr 2012 as compared with Apr 2011 economy crediting grew by 32.9% due mostly to growth in AMD loans.
The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that AMD supply grew by 23.7%, money supply by 20.7%, AMD deposits by 41.1%, foreign exchange deposits grew by 16.9%. As a result, the dollarization rate dropped by 3%.
According to the CB's forecasts, in 2012 money and AMD supply will grow by 17.6% and 21.1%, respectively, monetary base by 8%, circulated AMD cash by 13.3%, AMD deposits by 30%, foreign exchange deposits by 12.6%.  
The dollarization rate will drop by 4.2%, while the monetization rate will grow by 10%.
