Inflow of private transfers to Armenia amounted to $227.2 mln for 1Q 2012, 10,3% more than in 1Q 2011
Arminfo. The inflow of private transfers to Armenia amounted to $227.2 mln for 1Q 2012, which is by 10,3% more than in 1Q 2011. As Armenian Central Bank reported, the outflow of private transfers from Armenia fir Jan-Mar 2012 grew by 13,8% versus Jan-Mar 2011 and amounted to $60.9 mln in absolute terms. As a result, pure inflow of private transfers to Armenia by the end of the 1Q 2012 amounted to $216.3 mln having grown by 9,3% versus the end of the 1Q 2011. In the total volume of transfers the lion's share belongs to Russia - 81%, than comes the USA - 6,7%, Ukraine -1,4%, Kazakhstan - 1,4%, France and Germany- 1% and Spain - 0,6%.
The given growth was provided mainly thanks to the growth of the inflow of transfers from Russia by 14,9% up to $224.7 mln versus the 1Q 2011, from the USA by 2,8% up to $18.5 mln, from France - by 1,7% up to $2.5 mln, from United Arab Emirates - by 28,3% up to $838 thsd, from Turkey - by 49,4% up to $460 thsd. The dropping was fixed on inflow of transfers from Ukraine - by 2,6% to $3.833 mln, Kazakhstan - by 9,5% to $3.777 mln.,Germany - by 7,4% to 2.5 mln and China - by 2,9% to $96 thsd.
More than half of the outflow (about $32.6 mln) was Russia's share with growth by 18,5% versus 1Q 2011, the share of the USA - by 10,3% or $6.3 mln with dropping by 5,4%. Meanwhile the outflow of transfers from Armenia to Ukraine amounted to about 3 mln having reduced by 14,4%. The outflow to Germany grew by 70,7% up to $2.5 mln, to China - by 55,7% up to $2.1 mln, to the UAE - by 21,2% up to $1.5 mln and to France - by 17,6% up to $1.2 mln.
As a result, the lion's share of pure inflow belongs to Russia - 88,8% or $192.1 mln, growth by 14,3%. The share of the USA was 5,6% or $12.3 mln, growth by 7,6%.
