Devaluation of dram to US dollar was 6,2% in May 2012


Arminfo. The devaluation of dram to US dollar was 6,2% in May 2012 versus May 2011. As Armenian National Statistics Service reported, in May 2012 the average clearing rate amounted to 397,51 AMD/$1, against 374,25 AMD/$1 - in May 2011.

The dropping of the consumer prices in May 2012 versus April by 1,3% was accompanied by devaluation of dram to US dollar by 1,4%, and in Jan-May 2012 against the background of inflation 0,8%, the devaluation of a dram to US dollar was 3,7%.
