In Jan-Apr 2012 clientele of Armenian banks grew by 8.2% to 1,400,000


ArmInfo. As of May 1 2012 the Armenian banks had 1,370,989 individual and 39,776 corporate customers.

The Central Bank of Armenia reports that 1,440,765 customers had 1,588, 245 individual and 121,536 corporate accounts.

In Apr 2012 the banks' clientele grew by 1.9% or 26,413 customers, as compared with Apr 2011 by 22% or 259,483 customers, in Jan-Apr 2012 by 8.2% or 118,477 customers.

In Apr 2012 the number of accounts decreased by 26% or 601,838, as compared with Apr 2011 by 9.2% or 172,550, in Jan-Apr 2012 by 20% or 426,738.
