Armenian Central Bank puts into circulation Sergey Parajanov commemorative silver coin


ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia issued a commemorative silver coin dedicated to Sergei Parajanov within the frameworks of "Masters of Cinema" numismatic program.

The nominal price of the coin is AMD 100. The author of the coin is Ursula Valezhak. It was coined in Poland. The silver coin weights 28.28 grams and measures 28.0 x 40.0 mm. The commemorative proof coin was issued in 5555 copies, the Armenian Central Bank told ArmInfo.

By data of the Armenian Central Bank, over 160 jubilee and commemorative coins have been issued since 1994 in the country with 116 being silver and 44 gold.
