In May 2012 AMD depreciated against USD by 1.5%


ArmInfo. In May 2012 AMD depreciated against USD by 1.48% to 397.92 AMD/1 USD.

The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that during the same period AMD appreciated against EURO by 1.37% to 509.1 AMD/1 EUR and against RUR by 3.1% to 12.89 AMD/1 RUR.

In May 2012 the average yield of one-year government bonds on the primary market made up 8.96%, while the repo rate on the inter-bank market made up 9.45%. The average rate of inter-bank loans on the stock market made up 9.08%.

June 5 2012 the CB kept its official rate unchanged at 8%.
