Central Bank of Armenia refreshes banknotes with nominal value of 5,000 AMD, 10,000 AMD and 20,000 AMD


ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) is refreshing the banknotes with the nominal value of 5,000 AMD, 10,000 AMD and 20,000 AMD. The CBA press service told ArmInfo that the new banknotes issued in 2012 will be put into circulation on June 25.

The source says that the 5,000 AMD banknotes issued in 1999,2003 and 2009; the 10,000 AMD banknotes issued in 2003, 2006 and 2008, as well as the 20,000 AMD banknotes issued in 1999, 2007 and 2009 will remain in circulation without any restrictions.
