In May 2012 Armenia's money supply totaled $2.9bln
ArmInfo. In May 2012 Armenia's money supply grew by 1.5% to $2.9bln or 1.175trl. As compared with May 2011 it grew by 23.9%.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in May 2012 the cash outside the banking system decreased by 0.4% to 335.8bln AMD. As compared with May 2011 it grew by 14.2%.
The share of AMD deposits made up 27.6% or 324.4bln AMD, that of foreign exchanges deposits - 43.8% or 514.7bln AMD.
In May 2012 the external assets decreased by 8.9% to -138.8bln AMD, while the internal ones grew by 2.3% to 1.314trl AMD.
The share of the economy made up 1.52trl AMD, the share of organizations - 887.5bln AMD, the share of households - 587.8bln AMD, the share of non-profit organizations - 21.9bln AMD.
