Services worth 95.9bln AMD provided in Armenia's financial sector in Jan-May 2012


ArmInfo. Services worth 95.9bln AMD ($245.2mln) were provided in Armenia's financial sector in Jan-May 2012 – 22% more than in Jan-May 2011 or 26.5% of total services.

The National Statistical Service of Armenia reports that during the same period information and communication services totaled 78.8bln AMD (6.7% more than a year before or 21.8% of total services), transportation services 67bln AMD (8.3% more or 18.5% of the total) .

The total amount of services provided in Armenia in Jan-May 2012 was 362.1bln AMD ($925.9mln) – 10.4% more than in Jan-May 2011.

In Jan-May 2012 the average market AMD/USD exchange rate made up 391.05 AMD/1 USD.
