Ameriabank launches Generation program
ArmInfo. Ameriabank announced launch of new training program during press conference held on June 29, 12:30.
The press service of the bank reports that Generation program is aimed at enhancing the development of young, driven and enthusiastic beginning professionals and nurturing the next generation of young leaders. The program enables young recent graduates without work experience to start their career path with Ameriabank, providing practical insight and sharing day-to-day expertise in finance and banking and business environment. The bank has elaborated a program to provide young people an opportunity to be trained and gain insight to real-life business environment, get familiarized with modern technologies and seek new opportunities. Generation program serves as a bridge between educational system and real employers facilitating young people in finding their place in the labor market.
"Recruitment of fresh talent is of utmost importance under our strategic development plan. We highly value consolidation of enthusiastic and result-driven people around our philosophy, who will add freshness to our activity and become an engine of business development," said Arman Barseghyan, Retail Banking Director at Ameriabank.
The program is designed for 20-25 year old people with university diploma who will pass selection procedures to join Generation program and to have on-job training during several months at Ameriabank.
"If you are driven, educated, creative and young, if you are ready to face new challenges, you should definitely become a part of Generation program. Every year we receive about 700 applications from students seeking internship at the bank. 150-200 out of them do their internship with us while 50% are further employed at Ameriabank. The average age of our employees is 33, so recruitment of young professionals is always of utmost importance for us", said Armine Ghazaryan, Head of HR Management Unit.
Those interns who will complete Generation program successfully will be considered for employment in Ameriabank.
