Unibank announces the launch of its new Arca Classic "Magniscard" with up to 40% possible discount
ArmInfo. Unibank has announced the launch of its new Arca Classic "Magniscard". The key advantages of this card are provision of up to 40% discount during the shopping in the trade outlets and possibility to open a credit line of up to 500,000 AMD (without presenting any certificate of income), the press service of Unibank told ArmInfo.
The source says that the loan by the Magniscard is provided for up to 2 years to the persons at the age ranging from 23 to 63, who have a positive credit history. The interest rate is 24% p.a., which is added to the used part of the funds only. One can receive a Magniscard at any of the 41 branches of Unibank by presenting only one's passport and social card.
The project of privileges "Magnis" has been worked out for the holders of debit and credit cards of Unibank. Each customer, who received a card in Unibank, automatically becomes a participant in the project, which allows the customer to save money when doing the daily shopping. In order to receive a discount from the partners of the project, the cardholders are to present any card of Unibank while paying for the goods and services. A special sticker with the "Magnis" logotype at the entrance of the trade outlet or at the cash register shows that the company is a participant in the "Magnis" project.
"The new offer of Unibank aims to simplify withdrawal of money for the current consumer spending and to offer the customer additional advantages under Unibank's project of privileges. Today the bankcard should be not only convenient, but also profitable to the customers. This is why we have implemented the "Magnis" project, under which all the cardholders of the bank, regardless of the type of their cards, can make use of up to 40% discount in more than 100 companies", said Samvel Vardanyan, Head of Retail Business of Unibank.
According to ArmInfo's Analytical Review "Armenian Banks in Card Business", Unibank is the m,ost active initiator of card projects. Unibank is on the list of the top five leaders by the number of active cards - over 100 thsd cards as of 1 April 2012 (4th position, 46% y-o-y growth). By the number of its own POS- terminals, the bank holds the 3rd position - 588 POS-terminals. By the number of ATMs, the bank holds the 5th position (85 ATMs, including two cash-in ATMs), 49 of them are in Yerevan, 36 are in the regions.
