Financial organizations and households expect 2.2-5.5% inflation


ArmInfo. Financial organizations and households in Armenia expect 2.2-5.5% inflation in 2012, according to a survey conducted by the Central Bank of Armenia in Q1 2012.

48% of banks and 43.3% of credit organizations expect such an inflation.7

The CB's monetary-credit policy forecasted 4.5% inflation for Q1 2012 and 4% +/-1.5% inflation for 2012.

Meanwhile, 43% of banks and 33% of credit organizations believe that annual inflation may range within 5.5-8.5%.
