9 credit companies among top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia
ArmInfo. The top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia for the first half of 2012 include 9 credit companies, of which 8 are universal credit organizations (UCOs) and 1 is a leasing company.
According to the Armenian Stare Revenue Committee, Fast Credit UCO is in the lead among the credit companies. It held the 110th position, having transferred 398 mln AMD to the state budget, with 397.4 mln of this amount being profit and income taxes. The following companies rank next: FINCA UCO (123rd position) with 354.6 mln AMD, including 325.7 mln AMD profit and income taxes; ACBA Leasing (154th position) with 300.9 mln AMD, including 136.6 mln AMD profit and income taxes; Norvik UCO (155th position) with 300.3 mln AMD, including 298.1 mln AMD profit and income taxes; Kamurj UCO (194th position) with 229.6 mln AMD, including 227.2 mln AMD profit and income taxes.
Aregak UCO held the 296th position (143 mln AMD, including 106.7 mln AMD profit and income taxes), Bless UCO - 499th position (82.9 mln AMD, including 82.4 mln AMD profit and income taxes), National Mortgage Company - 540th position (76.5 mln AMD, including 76 mln AMD profit and income taxes), Express Credit UCO - 820th position (46.5 mln AMD, including 45.2 mln AMD profit and income taxes).
To note, in Q1 2012 the top 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia included 8 credit companies: Norvik UCO (152nd position), ACBA Leasing (155th position), FINCA UCO (177th position), Aregak UCO (188th position), National Mortgage Company (337th position), Kamurj (648th position), Bless UCO (666th position), Affordable Housing for Young Families (682nd position).
As of 1 July 2012, there were 32 credit companies in Armenia, particularly, 28 UCOs, 3 leasing companies and 1 credit union.
