By July 1 2012 Armenia's money supply totaled $2.860 bln
ArmInfo. Over Q2 2012 Armenia's money supply grew by 5.4% to 1.196 trln AMD or $2.860 bln. As compared with the same period of 2011, it grew by 23.6%.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, over Q2 2012 the cash outside the banking system decreased by 5.5% to 338.9 bln AMD. As compared with Q2 2011, it grew by 12.3%.
The share of AMD deposits made up 26.4% or 315.9 bln AMD, that of foreign exchanges deposits - 45.2% or 540.7 bln AMD.
In late June 2012 the external assets decreased by 94.2% to -166.4 bln AMD, while the internal ones grew by 11.6% to 1.362 trl AMD.
The share of the economy made up 1.573 trl AMD, the share of organizations - 925.4 bln AMD, the share of households - 602 bln AMD, the share of non-profit organizations - 22.9 bln AMD.
