Gross international reserves of Armenia fell 0.7% for May to $1675.8 million
ArmInfo. Armenia's gross external reserves fell 0.7% for May 2012 to $1675.8 million as of June 1 2012 following reduction of CB;s currency assets and SDR at IMF, Armenian Central Bank press-service told ArmInfo. The annual reduction of the given indicator made up 1.8%.
Currency assets of the Central Bank fell 0.3% tro $1632.6 million, which is 3.2% less than in May 2012. Special drawing rights (SDR) at IMF decreased 13.4% to $43 million. As compared to May 2011, SDR grew over twofold.
The share of bank gold in gross international reserves was zeroed out in December 2003.
